Howdy folks, another week is fast approaching its end, and with it comes a whole new set of questions from the hard working Cheddar X staff.
We've got some new members, everyone say hi to Wired Nerve, Arghh, Chew's News and Late Night Ramblings. If you've been welcomed more than once then woops, no more late nights for me. But if not then, welcome to the , the weekly-ish question set that digs deeper, probes more thoroughly and requires more than just a pair of sparring braincells to respond.
With the pep talk done, let's get right to this week's inquisations.
From Everyday Stranger
1. Of the cast of characters in your life today, who amongst them are people that you cannot envisage your life without?
And the rest are from my own sick and twisted but always curious mind.
2. If you could name a Talk Like Day (as in our recent Talk Like a Pirate Day), what day would you initiate?
3. What's your favorite home remedy for a cold or flu?
4. What's your most embarassing moment? (I could swear this has been asked before but I can't find it anywhere)
5. What's the funniest product name you've come across or invented? (I.e. when I was just in New York I saw some Crack Creme that made me laugh and think about crackheads who needed something a little more soothing instead of the rock).
And an instant question that's relevant to me in the last ten days before my wedding.
6. What's your ideal honeymoon?
The first ever Digital Camera Cheddar X Challenge (henceforth to be known as the DCCXC, or maybe not, though it looks like it should be a Roman numeral, anyone want to figure it out?): Take a picture that best represents your town. And I do think that this can be undertaken over the weekend if that's easiest. Anyone got other ideas for some digi-cam fun? I was thinking about a photo-based scavenger hunt.
And there ya go, this week's , now can I get back to work?

Hot Cheddary Love
Let's get right to it, this week's , most of this week's questions came from Jim at Snooze Button Dreams. And next week's list is already growing and festering so get to it! Inspiration for questions 5 and 6 came from a post on intellectual properties and I apologize for not mentioning it earlier. Shall I take my spanking now or later, Amy?
1. This one's from Lileks: "Families of terrorists who blow up men, women and children, some of whom are Americans, no longer receive money from Saddam, because Saddam no longer rules Iraq. Is this a good thing, or a bad thing? Explain"
2. You've got the Magic Button of Death. Every time you press the button the person you want to kill will die. One other random person will also die. Do you use the button? Who do you whack?
3. You've won a million dollars with the conditions that you can only use it to purchase things for yourself and anything you haven't spent in a month is forfeit. What do you buy?
4. You've won a million free and clear. What do you do with it?
5. What song or band do you listen to when you want to reminisce or visit a moment in your past? What's the moment?
6. Or, is there a song that defines a period in your life?
7. Can you know what someone is like just based on how they look or act without meeting them?
And that's this week's , go get some! Don't forget to stop back in and post a comment when you're responses have gone up.

This Week's , a bit Early but Still Sharp
As I'll be out of touch for the next few days this week's questions are going up early. And jeezo, this is the first week with no alternative input from any of the members! Which leaves the burden on me but don't worry, I'll shoulder it and carry the cheese on home.
1. What are the top three things you like about your job? Top three dislikes?
2. What do you wish you could do on your weekends?
3. What architectural style appeals to you the most and why?
4. If your house was on fire and your family and pets were safe but you could only grab three things, what would they be?
5. What was the last premonition you had come true?
6. What is love?
There were more but these are the cream of the crop, or at least the one's I liked best. Got some questions of your own? Use the note board over there on the right and let me know what's on your mind. Also, don't forget to let others know when you've posted your responses by leaving a comment on today's post.
The , taking a bite out of banality with some freshness, some flavor and just a little more complexity than those other question sites (at least I hope so!). Now let's get out there and spread the gospel according to Cheddar!
Also, we have yet another new member to the Cheddar X tribe, everybody give a big ol' cheesy Howdyado to Wired Nerve.

More Cheddar X Converts!
Melodrama wrote me an email over the weekend asking to join the ranks of the Cheddar X elite because the Friday Five was inane. And its my pleasure to make it so. Everyone, this is Melodrama, Melodrama, this is everyone. Come on in, get yourself a drink and make yourself at home.
[But wait, there's more! We're also welcoming Obscurorant. Everyone say howdy and make some room around the campfire.]
Side note, this week's questions will probably be posted on Wednesday as I'll be on the road and in the air all day Thursday and gone through the weekend.
Which brings me to another side note idea that just occurred to me. How many Cheddar X'ers have digital cameras? I thought it would be kind of cool to occasionally do a group project idea like having everyone snap pics of something local and posting them to the Cheddar X. Its just a very raw idea now but what do people think? Good, bad? Stupid? Cool?

Like a Cheese Flavored Snake in the Grass, More Please!
The ever expanding member corps has blessed us with another round of penetrating questions to gain better insight into who and what we all are. Or just to allow us the stage to think and write about events, actions, policies that we might not otherwise have.
Lots of questions this week, answer some, answer them all, answer none at all and stand there with your arms crossed and a petulant look on your face until next week. Or make up your own questions and hack at them.
Thanks to Karen, Jim and H for the mass of questions this week. I've added one just to try and keep up.
1. What is the best or most sentimental vacation you have ever taken and why?
2. Which poses the next-what is the worst or most regrettable?
3. If you could go back and change one decision or action that you made, what would it be?
4. What are you most proud of in your life?
5. What one memory from your childhood sticks out most in your mind?
6. What are your thoughts on homosexual marriage?
7. What 3 laws would you change or enact if you had the power to do so?
There ya go, another Cheddar X special question set, I think 7's the most we've gotten to so far and there are still a few questions ducking around in the dark shadows of my mind.
The , often forgotten, never duplicated and scared of nothing but inanity. Go and get some!
