Cleaning House

Its time, folks. I've dropped a few blogs from the Cheddar Roll Call and removed them from the mailing lists. A few did write me and ask to stay on board even though they've not been regular players and that's totally cool.

Maybe we'll have to do a Cheddar X siting week. Its fun to Google the Cheddar X and see where its all going.

There must be nothing better

Welcome to this week's where the order of the day is rhyming or responding in verse. It was far harder to come up with questions than I first thought. Have some fun, take your time, getting the Cheddar up late isn't a crime and over the weekend or next week is fine.

And whoever can figure out what rhymes with orange gets the bonus prize this week!

1. What is your favorite poem or verse? Why?
2. Describe your family.
3. What line in a song or poem do people always screw up that drives you nuts?
4. Are there poems or songs that you intentionally change the words to?
5. Make up a standard limerick about something funny that happened in the last couple of days.
6. How about a haiku about your last intense emotional moment?
7. What's caught your eye in the news lately?

I'm not sure about answering number 3 and 4 in verse but hey, give it a try if you want to.

If you like, you can continue with Jim's idea from last week, to insert one false answer into the mix to see if people are paying attention or not.

Next week, Numbered Cheddar X. And no, I don't really know what that means yet either. But I'll figure it out over the weekend. Other ideas, how about a poetry week (just for you Ryan!) where responses should conform to some poetic standards?

Also, I think I'm going to start removing blogs from the roll that haven't taken part in any Cheddar X activities for the last couple of months. If you want to stay then you got to play!

Okay, as might be apparent, I've got a lot of thoughts on the subject and could easily go on and on and on with the questions. But, as it is, this is longest to date already.

PS Jim just wrote me with an excellent idea. "Answer one question with a lie and see if your readers can tell which one is the falsity" (note, I would have probably said falsehood but hey, I'm quoting here! hehehe)/

Morning Cheese, Please

Okay, let's not point fingers, we all know the is going up slightly later than at its normal time. Its nobody's fault so let's all just move on and get into the cheese, okay?

Alright, alright, I was way to busy yesterday and didn't have time to post new questions. I've been thinking about trying to post them earlier in the week since Thursdays are usually one of my tougher days in the office.

But before we get to the questions, what's your cheese rating? By way of Jim's Snooze Button Dreams I happened to learn what my Cheese Rating is. Johnny Huh equals Cheddar. I knew it before and am substantially validated now. And now, on with the show.

2. Are people more likely to try and take advantage of someone outside their ethnicity?
3. Do you have links on your blog that are linked back? How does that make you feel (and I'm not really talking about the A-list bloggers)?
4. Is it better to lead with bad news followed by good or the other way around? Why?
