Good morning and welcome to this week's post Christmas . This week's questions have nothing to do with the holiday but will hopefully still be fun to answer anyway.
I've not had a chance to get the MadLibs Cheddar X pulled together yet but will do so over the weekend I think. Or next week since its a vacation week for the Huh? family.
And so, without further jabbering on my part, let's get to the questions!
From a conversation with Ryan,
1. What's the best porn name you've seen or invented?
2. What's the most recent thing you've eaten off the ground?
3. What's your favorite meal (sneaking suspicion this has been asked before)?
4. What's the lamest blog name you know of?
5. Which blogger would you most like to meet in person?
6. What is the most surprising thing about you?
7. What is the best new word you've learned or made up?
Hope everyone enjoyed the holiday break yesterday, I know Santa was quite kind to us (anytime Santa gives you power tools, its a good thing!).
Happy ing!

Its Beginning to Look Alot like the Cheddar X!
Its that time again, a holiday inspired
As usually happens, I came up with all kinds of good regular X questions and only a spattering of holiday themed ones, but here's where the true beauty of the Cheddar X comes in to play. The Zonk Board questions will be carrying the load this week and that's alright by me because there's lots of end of the year projects to wrap up at work!
From Karen:
1. What was your most memorable present you received as a child? Good or bad.
From Chewie:
2. What is your most favorite holiday memory? Tradition?
3. Hot cocoa or hot apple cider?
And from Sue:
4. Egg Nog. Yes or yuck?!
To which I will add a couple more.
5. What's your favorite Christmas song or carol?
6. What's your favorite Christmas movie and why?
7. Do you spend the holidays with your family or with your friends or neither?
8. What is the most thoughtful gift you've ever given to someone?
I could go on now that my question asking side of the brain has woken up but this should be plenty to chew on until next week.
It looks like the Mad Libs idea is a go and I'll begin working on it. I think the plan is to Publish a list of needed words and then publish the short story that the words will fill in. As this is a very raw idea, I would welcome any help on it. I've got some ideas but can always use a few more. Send me an email at jh at intellectualpoison dot com with your input.
And there is it, another steaming pile of the .
Happy Holidays to everyone, thanks to Sue, Karen and Chewie for their input (Victoria, I tried to figure out a holiday themed question out of your comment on the board but failed, sorry!).

Lost? Look No Further Than the Cheddar X for Salvation
Time for more ! We had the best turnout ever for last week's band themed answers and I know I had a blast reading through people's answers.
1. What was your last near death experience?
1a. Or what is your most memorable near death experience?
2. How often do you pull or edit posts after publishing them?
3. How do you decide what to blog about?
4. What is your favorite work of art?
5. What was your last brush with the law about?
6. What's the most clever post title you've come up with?
7. What's the best marketing gimmick you've seen lately? Worst?
And I'm starting to develop another interesting concept for a Cheddar X. What would people's interests be in taking part in sort of MadLibs kind of Cheddar X where a certain number of adjectives, nouns, verbs and all those other fun parts of the language are entered into a short story? I think the best way for it to work is for a post of what the story requirements are on one day and then the short story with those blanks to be filled in the next or something like that. Is this a good idea or is doomed to fail because of the inherent weaknesses of the concept?
Also, because of the excellent response from last week's Cheddar X, I would also like to revisit the theme but by using movies as the base for answers. Maybe narrow it down to favorite actor or director. Of course, the set of questions would have to be changed but that's easily doable. Please leave responses in the comments or on the Tag Board (when its fixed). I will also be adding some more verbiage to the sidebar to make the aim of the Cheddar X a bit more accessible to newcomers.
One more idea to open up for discussion that I'm pretty sure I know the answer to already but would love some feedback. Would anyone be interested in doing a politically themed Cheddar X? My inclination is to say no but ya never know!
Everyone's assignment for next week? Give some thought to Christmas or holiday themed questions. Post questions to the comments or Tag Board. I've got a few working already but hey, I can always use a helping hand.
If you're lurking and wondering if you can play then lurk no more, come on in and join the X!

Cheddar X-ploration: To Go Where No Blog Has Gone Before
This is the mandate, the philosophy and the verbiage on the back of the fresh new package of I got.
This week is a twisted sort of Cheddar X. Its a concept borrowed from Intellectual Properties who borrowed it from Indie.Rock.Librarian who likely borrowed it from somewhere else but that's as far as I'm tracing it.
And here we go!
Choose one of your favorite bands and answer the questions using song titles by that band. I think it would add some fun to not name the band and see how hard it is for people to guess (guessing, by the way, does not include using Google so no cheating!). But do it either way you want to.
Are you male or female?
Describe yourself:
How do some people feel about you?
How do you feel about yourself?
Describe your ex:
Descibe your current significant other (real or imaginary):
Describe what you want to be:
Describe your current mood:
Describe your friends:
Share a few words of wisdom:
Still unclear? Check out intellectual properties' responses for more guidance. Or heck, just wing it and have fun with it.
Leave a note in the comments if you want to share your responses, if not then no worries! The isn't about rules, man!, its about having some fun, dig?

Solo Cheddar X-stacy
Yeah, yeah, I know I'm partially recycling post titles but isn't imitation some sort of flattery? What if I'm imitating myself? Oh well. Its that time again, time for the goodness that is the . We've got a short week busted in half by Turkey Day tomorrow and I know most of the nation will be in a tryptophan induced coma by four in the afternoon, just about the time we head out to start looting houses for Christmas presents.
Enough about me. Let's get to the Cheddar X questions this week.
1. What's the funniest town name you've ever seen?
2. What was the last museum you went to?
3. When was the last time you were grossed out? (I'd been thinking about narrowing this down to the last time you were grossed out a pal's house but why limit responses?)
4. What is the best blog title you've come across or made up on your own?
5. Do you live in your hometown now? What caused you to stay or move away?
6. If you were a criminal mastermind, how would you take over the world?
Next week question notes: I'm working on a set of questions that's intended to be answered by using song titles of your favorite band. I was thinking it might be kind of fun to not name the band and see if people can figure it out. What do folks think?
Submit questions you might have on the tag board or in the comments.
Thanks for the cool emails I've been getting this week, they make all of this way more fun to know that other people are getting kicks out of it as well. Which reminds me, if you know of some other blogs answering the Cheddar X, post a comment so the rest of us can check them out.
And there it is, this week's . Go get some!

An Extra Large Serving of Movie Themed Cheddar X
I should be careful what I ask for. Last week I asked for a little help on this week's movie themed set of questions and Chewie unleashed a flood of inquiries. Joey, our newest member and writer of BuggreAlleThis added in one and I had one as well. Which makes this the largest ever!
Without further yapping on my part, let's get right to the action. And, since its such a large list of q's, don't feel required to answer them all if you don't want to. Heck, you don't have to answer any if you don't feel like it, that's the beauty of the Cheddar X!
From Chewie,
1. What's your favorite/least favorite movie?
2. What's the best movie-adaptation of a book?
3. What movie makes you cry?
4. What movie do you watch to cheer you up?
5. Any amusing stories involving movies or the movie theater?
6. Would you rather go to the theater or stay home and watch a movie?
7. Are you more awed by a good plot or special effects?
8. Who is your favorite/least favorite actor/actress?
From Johnny Huh,
9. What's your favorite cult movie?
From Joey,
10. Matrix Revolutions, worth the wait or WTF?
I've come across a few other places where the Cheddar X gospel is being spread outside of the member set which is totally cool and the Cheddar X-ecutive staff is very pleased but hey, if you're playing then why not post a comment when you've added your responses? One blog that I can't seem to find anymore took the Cheddar X a step further and interviewed himself and I damned near fell out of my chair laughing.
I just Googled Cheddar X and found a whole bunch more blogs that have taken part. Kind of cool!

Come on In, the Cheddar's Fine
It becomes Thursday before I know it and I'm forced to scramble a bit, on occasion, to come up with insightful questions for the .
I've been noticing a decline in the participation levels and would welcome any input on how to regenerate people's interest in the Cheddar X but don't expect me to go jumping out of a cake or anything like that. Let me know what would make the Cheddar X more valuable for you, how to improve the product.
But let's get to the meat of the show and get down to the question asking.
1. What's the best advice you've ever gotten?
2. What is the best thing you've ever found?
3. What three words describe your blog?
4. What was the most recent thing you did that seemed like a good idea at the time but later events proved otherwise?
5. What two celebrities would you most like to see fight to the death?
6. What do you think is the best thing about the internet? What's the worst?
Next week, taking a cue from Chewie, let's try a movie themed Cheddar X for next week. I could use some help coming up with the set of questions so please don't be bashful and post them in the comments, on the board or email them to me.
Also, we've got a new member this week, everyone amble over and say hi to Tea.

The Hot, Fresh and Always Tasty Cheddar X
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to answer this week's with wit, humor, some biting commentary, personal history and passion. That said, let's get to the goods.
This week's questions, no theme, just the randomness that oozes from my head.
1. What good did you do in the world today?
2. What fashion trend are you glad that's gone away? Or what trend are you waiting to go away?
3. What's your greatest sports moment, your own or one you've witnessed?
4. Who would you nominate for the most annoying person award?
5. What do you do to get yourself ready to write? Either blogging or other writing? (I.e. I'm a whiskey drinker and like to have a tumbler to sip from when I write fiction).
6. Mac or PC or Linux? Why? (I'm curious about this because it seems like the majority of bloggers I know are Mac folks but maybe I'm just wishfully thinking).
The Cheddar X welcomes a new member this week, everyone say hi to Kitty Says, Kitty Says, this is everyone. Have fun and play nice or, if you plan to play mean then at least do with some humor tossed in.
Possible Themes in the works (and yes, please voice your vote in the comments): Sex, as in Cheddar XXX, music, sports, books, politics. I'm sure there are plenty more to think about choose from but my brain's tired and this is all that's coming out for right now. Feel free to make suggestions on the tag board or in the comments.
Ahh, the , so tasty, so piquant and spreadable. Go get some!

A Foodie's Cheddar X and Then Some
Alrighty, I was thinking this would actually be a good week to do some holiday Cheddaring but instead, as advertised last week, we're going with the firsrt themed question set for the and Food gets the nod (it's been sitting on the bench just hoping and hoping that the coach will call its name and put it in the game and now its ready to roll out and show everyone just what Food can do when given the chance).
Sorry if the questions aren't quite as deep as they normally are, I've got Halloween on the mind these days and could have come up with a slayerific question set for that but oh well. Gotta follow through on promises and all that rot.
So let's get right down to it.
1. What's the worst candy you've ever gotten on Halloween?
2. What is your best comfort food?
3. When was the last time you tried a new vegetable or fruit and what was it?
4. Is there a dish your mom or dad made for you growing up that you hated and can't even stand to think of now?
5. What's your favorite snacking food?
In other news, Carlene was cool enough to put together a new Cheddar X button or gif or whatever you want to call it. And here it is
It'll be added to the list over there on the right momentarily.
One Halloween question, what are you dressing up as for Halloween?

X-plicit Cheddar X-ploitation
Yes, I know I said I'd keep off the blogs today but this is different, this is about the and the Cheddar must go on!
A few good questions this week and an assignment for next week.
1. What's the most extreme thing you've done to either generate sympathy or get out of a debt?
2. If someone paid for your education, what do you think you owe them in return?
3. What's your fitness regimen?
4. What is your most annoying habit that you know drives others nuts but are powerless to stop?
5. What was your favorite vehicle (car, motorcycle, bike, skateboard, whatever)?
Don't forget to stop back in and post a comment when your responses are up and ready for the rest of us.
The assignment part of the game, it would appear that the idea of themed questions is a go. To that end I would like to ask people to put on their thinkin' caps and come up with some questions about food. Also, give some thought to what the next themed week should be. I was thinking about a sex week, maybe sports or activities, maybe a music one in their before too long (ahh, the better to cull new music to listen to!) or, to continue the theft of ideas, a set of questions that must be answered using the song titles from your favorite band.
And heck, let's add another good fun angle to the questions. How about a picture of your best dish?
And there ya go, another good, wholesome week of the cheesiest Q&A on the web. The , its just plain sharper and fresher than those other Q&A sites.

X Marks the Cheddar
Without all the hub bub of weddings and honeymoons and more snot filled rags than anyone should ever have to see, here comes the .
1. What was the last person, thing or event that made you cry?
2. What was your most recent vivid dream about?
3. What is the best bumper sticker you've seen or thought up?
4. Who was your worst room mate? Why?
5. What do you order most often when you go out to eat?
6. What's your cocktail of choice? Or beverage for the non-drinkers?
Bonus Question:
Can anyone explain how Arnold Schwarzenegger became the governor of California? And how we can get rid of him?
A couple of ideas I've been knocking around. Would people be interested in doing some themed questions? Say a Cheddar XXX question about sex stuff? Or music? Or work? Or something else? I'm open to ideas.
Also, I didn't get a decent pic that worked for me the first camera challenge. But I did come across this pic of Santa Cruz that's pretty cool. I'll have to dig through my archives and see if there's one that hits the Santa Cruz nail on the head for me.
Anyone got any ideas for the next photo challenge? I was thinking extreme closeups would be interesting.

Basic Cheddar X
Without much intro, I give you this week's . I'm tired from honeymooning and sick now too. Hope these questions are fun for you all. Thanks to Chewie for question input.
1. Do you think NJ just passing a law banning people from driving while drowsy will be effective in preventing accidents, or just another law that will fall by the wayside after a few years?
2. What is the best book that you have ever read? What made it such an excellent book?
3. If you were a multi-billionaire and decided to donate to a charity or good cause, what would they be?
4. What was your best wedding present? If you've not been married before then best birthday present, same for the follow up below.
5. What was the worst?

Your Cheddary Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It
Here are this week's questions. Sorry about the lateness of them but hey, I'm busy getting married over here! Rock On! See you all next week sometime!
I should have some pics to post when I'm back and we can actually start doing the photo challenges. If anyone's got other ideas for challenges then please pass them along and we'll see what floats to the top.
1. Where would you be if you were in a band?
2. What compels people to obey the law, the desire to avoid prison or caring for their fellow man? Why? Why not?
3. What's your favorite secret trick or shortcut either you can do or you know about?
4. There has recently been quite a bit of exposure regarding biased reporting from Iraq. Is it the responsibility of the news agencies to report good news as well as bad news?
5. What should the age of consent be and why?
6. Are you a Stealth Blogger? That is, do you let the people in your life know you blog? If so, why? If not, why not?

A Fresh Plate of the X, the Cheddar X, that is
Howdy folks, another week is fast approaching its end, and with it comes a whole new set of questions from the hard working Cheddar X staff.
We've got some new members, everyone say hi to Wired Nerve, Arghh, Chew's News and Late Night Ramblings. If you've been welcomed more than once then woops, no more late nights for me. But if not then, welcome to the , the weekly-ish question set that digs deeper, probes more thoroughly and requires more than just a pair of sparring braincells to respond.
With the pep talk done, let's get right to this week's inquisations.
From Everyday Stranger
1. Of the cast of characters in your life today, who amongst them are people that you cannot envisage your life without?
And the rest are from my own sick and twisted but always curious mind.
2. If you could name a Talk Like Day (as in our recent Talk Like a Pirate Day), what day would you initiate?
3. What's your favorite home remedy for a cold or flu?
4. What's your most embarassing moment? (I could swear this has been asked before but I can't find it anywhere)
5. What's the funniest product name you've come across or invented? (I.e. when I was just in New York I saw some Crack Creme that made me laugh and think about crackheads who needed something a little more soothing instead of the rock).
And an instant question that's relevant to me in the last ten days before my wedding.
6. What's your ideal honeymoon?
The first ever Digital Camera Cheddar X Challenge (henceforth to be known as the DCCXC, or maybe not, though it looks like it should be a Roman numeral, anyone want to figure it out?): Take a picture that best represents your town. And I do think that this can be undertaken over the weekend if that's easiest. Anyone got other ideas for some digi-cam fun? I was thinking about a photo-based scavenger hunt.
And there ya go, this week's , now can I get back to work?

Hot Cheddary Love
Let's get right to it, this week's , most of this week's questions came from Jim at Snooze Button Dreams. And next week's list is already growing and festering so get to it! Inspiration for questions 5 and 6 came from a post on intellectual properties and I apologize for not mentioning it earlier. Shall I take my spanking now or later, Amy?
1. This one's from Lileks: "Families of terrorists who blow up men, women and children, some of whom are Americans, no longer receive money from Saddam, because Saddam no longer rules Iraq. Is this a good thing, or a bad thing? Explain"
2. You've got the Magic Button of Death. Every time you press the button the person you want to kill will die. One other random person will also die. Do you use the button? Who do you whack?
3. You've won a million dollars with the conditions that you can only use it to purchase things for yourself and anything you haven't spent in a month is forfeit. What do you buy?
4. You've won a million free and clear. What do you do with it?
5. What song or band do you listen to when you want to reminisce or visit a moment in your past? What's the moment?
6. Or, is there a song that defines a period in your life?
7. Can you know what someone is like just based on how they look or act without meeting them?
And that's this week's , go get some! Don't forget to stop back in and post a comment when you're responses have gone up.

This Week's , a bit Early but Still Sharp
As I'll be out of touch for the next few days this week's questions are going up early. And jeezo, this is the first week with no alternative input from any of the members! Which leaves the burden on me but don't worry, I'll shoulder it and carry the cheese on home.
1. What are the top three things you like about your job? Top three dislikes?
2. What do you wish you could do on your weekends?
3. What architectural style appeals to you the most and why?
4. If your house was on fire and your family and pets were safe but you could only grab three things, what would they be?
5. What was the last premonition you had come true?
6. What is love?
There were more but these are the cream of the crop, or at least the one's I liked best. Got some questions of your own? Use the note board over there on the right and let me know what's on your mind. Also, don't forget to let others know when you've posted your responses by leaving a comment on today's post.
The , taking a bite out of banality with some freshness, some flavor and just a little more complexity than those other question sites (at least I hope so!). Now let's get out there and spread the gospel according to Cheddar!
Also, we have yet another new member to the Cheddar X tribe, everybody give a big ol' cheesy Howdyado to Wired Nerve.

More Cheddar X Converts!
Melodrama wrote me an email over the weekend asking to join the ranks of the Cheddar X elite because the Friday Five was inane. And its my pleasure to make it so. Everyone, this is Melodrama, Melodrama, this is everyone. Come on in, get yourself a drink and make yourself at home.
[But wait, there's more! We're also welcoming Obscurorant. Everyone say howdy and make some room around the campfire.]
Side note, this week's questions will probably be posted on Wednesday as I'll be on the road and in the air all day Thursday and gone through the weekend.
Which brings me to another side note idea that just occurred to me. How many Cheddar X'ers have digital cameras? I thought it would be kind of cool to occasionally do a group project idea like having everyone snap pics of something local and posting them to the Cheddar X. Its just a very raw idea now but what do people think? Good, bad? Stupid? Cool?

Like a Cheese Flavored Snake in the Grass, More Please!
The ever expanding member corps has blessed us with another round of penetrating questions to gain better insight into who and what we all are. Or just to allow us the stage to think and write about events, actions, policies that we might not otherwise have.
Lots of questions this week, answer some, answer them all, answer none at all and stand there with your arms crossed and a petulant look on your face until next week. Or make up your own questions and hack at them.
Thanks to Karen, Jim and H for the mass of questions this week. I've added one just to try and keep up.
1. What is the best or most sentimental vacation you have ever taken and why?
2. Which poses the next-what is the worst or most regrettable?
3. If you could go back and change one decision or action that you made, what would it be?
4. What are you most proud of in your life?
5. What one memory from your childhood sticks out most in your mind?
6. What are your thoughts on homosexual marriage?
7. What 3 laws would you change or enact if you had the power to do so?
There ya go, another Cheddar X special question set, I think 7's the most we've gotten to so far and there are still a few questions ducking around in the dark shadows of my mind.
The , often forgotten, never duplicated and scared of nothing but inanity. Go and get some!

The Newest Penetrating High Velocity Questions
Without the fanfare, without the fanatical teenaged girls swooning and fainting as the Cheddar X gets off the plane, without the need to take easy jabs at the yawniness that is the Friday Five, here are this week's latest questions. Guaranteed to make you think but not guaranteed to make your hair grow back or your crab grass to disappear.
1. What TV show do you remember most from your childhood, and why?
2. Who would you elect for governor of California? (Assume you're a registered California voter.)
3. Do violence and drugs in entertainment media cause violent or delinquent behavior in minors?
4. What are your current views on Iraq? How do they compare to your views from before the war?
5. What phobias do you have? (Fear of spiders, crowds, etc.)
6. If you could change one facet of American (or your) culture what would it be?
There ya go, take yourself a big old bite of the and pass it around!
Questions this week are courtesy of Everyday Stranger and Snooze Button Dreams, that's right. I didn't do a damned thing this week for the Cheddar X although I did come up with a couple of questions but these were sooooo much better that I am allowing myself to fade into the crowd and applaud their efforts. And yes, Jim, I did take out one question, I'll try to get it back in for next week, I've gotta edit something, ya know?
Don't forget to leave a comment when you've posted your responses, otherwise people won't know when to go and hit up your site to get their share of your own special Cheddar!

New Member Q's for This Week's Cheddar X-pression
Jim from Snooze Button Dreams' timing couldn't be better with his questions from both himself and his lovely wife. I've been busy as hell with work and this ridiculous soap opera sublet nightmare that I'm hoping to wake up from on Monday with a clean slate and no more headaches.
But enough grousing from me, how's about we get to this week's bunch of questions guaranteed to make the Friday Five blanch with envy and then go and hide behind its momma's skirts because we dare to ask the questions that they only wish they had the courage to ask.
So, cue the theme music, pop a fresh barley pop and settle in for this week's series.
1. What animated cartoon character best represents you? (and Ryan, you cannot say Stripperella!)
2. What is your dream date?
3. What are your politics?
4. What is the most despicable thing you have done to another person?
4a. My addendum to this: What's the most despicable thing you've done and gotten away with?
5. What is the nicest thing you have done for another person?
Have at it! And don't forget to post a note in the comments when you're up on your site.
And spread the word about the Cheddar! More Cheddar is More Better!
And wear a hat if you're going out.
And wear clean underwear too!

Welcoming Another New Cheddar X Blog to the Fold
We're growing again, this time we welcome Jim from Snooze Button Dreams (which is, incidentally, a pretty funny blog and I will be heading back to read more as soon as I can. I really liked the post about kids trading bad habits like Pokemon cards!).
Make yourself at home, Jim, spread some cheese and keep those questions coming!
[Update: Let's also welcome my two favorite Texans, Kim and Kim from the 20/20 Kim Site as they have also requested membership to the society that is the Cheddar X. Kim wrote to let me know she's off all next week but will get in on the Cheddar X as soon as she's back.]

Another Week of Introspection with the Cheddar X
Because he has a gift for joyously unrestrained prose, here's Ryan's introduction to the Cheddar X with apologies to anyone who decides to get offended by it. It has been very, very slightly edited to protect the guilty, namely me.
"The assault upon the banality of the Friday Five forges on, as Johnny Huh? continues to provide the Cheddar X revolution that will one day poke a fat, gnarled toe into the vagina of the Friday Five. Did I just type that?"
And now, on to this week's set of questions, post them at your convenience as the Cheddar X has no hard and fast rules for when it all comes together. This is a free form exchange so do it at your own pace. Just remember to come back and let us know when you have posted so we can all learn more about each other. Geezo, I sound like a freaking therapist, okay now, everyone, group hug. Hahaha!
From Carlene comes: 1. What are people's greatest misconception about you?
And the rest,
2. What is your most over used expression?
3. If they made a movie of your life, who would you want to play you and who do you think would end up playing you?
4. If you could have sex with anyone, ever, who would it be?
5. What's the best and worst thing you've done for or to your appearance?
Which begs the follow up question:
6. What's your best physical trait? (yeah, yeah, shallow like the Friday Five on Prozac and Ritalin but I'm curious so there ya go)

More New Members and New Questions!
Yeeha, the Cheddar X is invading the web, like a secret creeping fog that permeates all it touches, the Cheddar X is reaching out and finding resonant voices to join the growing chorus of dissatisfaction with the shallow end of blog pool's weekly or semi-regular question sites.
This week we welcome Everyday Stranger to the fold (who also happens to have a good post about breaking her bed upon the return of her man after a 5 day boys-only sailing trip/booze cruise!).
And it gives me an excuse to post some early questions and get the game rolling again. Thanks to Spork for submitting a question.
1. What are you afraid of?
2. What was you worst fear that you overcame?
3. What's the meanest thing you've ever done?
4. What is your favorite taste? (and it is a shame that Ryan's out of the pocket on this one because I know he'd dig on it)
5. If you could relocate your life to anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
I may end up adding more questions as the week progresses but I had to welcome Everyday Stranger because it would have been impolite not to. And my momma raised me right!
Keep asking questions, put them in the comments or add them to the Zonkboard on the side!

A Growing Cheddar X and this Week's Questions
Well, the Cheddar X roster continues its upward expansion. This week we welcome Sepia Sight to the fold. And Karen has already posted a question to the Zonkboard! Good stuff!
Let's see how many questions we've got for this week, shall we?
1. What are your top three favorite smells?
2. What scents on men/women do you find most attractive? And what scents to you absolutely despise?
3. What was your worst nickname growing up?
4. What nickname did you want to have?
5. What was the last trick you pulled on someone?
6. What was the last trick you had pulled on you?
I'll start working on my responses and will have them posted sometime tomorrow most likely.
Thanks to everyone for their input!

A New Member of the Cheddar X and This Week's Questions
Everyone, this is Sporked.net, Sporked.net, this is everyone. Get yourself some coffee and join the circle. Hehehe.
And Jivha has moved to Movable Type and is now, Jivha - The Tongue. Which may require some disclaimer that its not a sex blog, or maybe its becoming a sex blog?
The Cheddar X is starting to get some legs!
But let's get to the questions as we missed last week because of the 4th.
From Carlene comes the first question and its an open ended one.
When was the last time you went too far?
And the ones that have come to me during the week.
When was the last time you couldn't get home under your own power?
What's the most crazy thing you've seen or done while driving/commuting?
Ever been bare down there? (this is a reference to the Secret Garden as Carlene calls it)
If you had a week to live, what would you do?
Would your eating habits change if your vegetables struggled or cried before you ate them? (a direct question from a controversy this week)
When was the last time you were embarrassed to be seen with someone and why?

Umm, Technical Difficulties and a Short Work Week
Yeah, I slipped up a bit last week and did not get the Cheddar X up and rolling as it normally does, around Friday, with a set of new and innovative questions that make the lame crap that the Friday Five posts look like the lame crap that the Friday Five posts.
But, as the Cheddar X is still on the down low I think we're okay.
And the extra week has allowed me time to germinate and develop a bunch of good questions.
The first of which I will start posting tomorrow.
Anyone surfing by and want to suggest a question? Leave a message or comment.

A New Friday and A New Question Set to Ponder Over
Not a whole big set of questions but some good ones, I think.
Have you ever been ashamed of your race or nationality?
What was the last thing that really enraged you?
When was the last time you played stupid to get away with something?
Have you ever steered someone wrong (gave them bad directions, bad service, whatever) because they were just being overbearing jerks?
From Carlene, If you knew you were about to die, what would be the last sight you would want to see?
Last one, for those of us who have a history in the restaurant business. Have you ever monkeyed around with anyone's food or drinks? I.e. spit in them, wiped a booger on their burger or otherwise added your own spice or twist?

What is your most proud moment?
What are you most proud of in your life?
What is your most guilty pleasure?
From Carlene: How much sh*t would you take from your employer before you quit on the spot without another job lined up?

This Week's Set of Questions for the Cheddar X
Lots of choices, lots of things to think about this week. We could go political (Hillary running for President?), we could go tragedy (more hatred and murder in the Middle East), big business (Sam Waksal and Martha Stewart) or keep it more personal.
Jivha and Carlene have offered some good questions. Got one for next week? Leave a comment, send me an email or use the Zonkboard over there.
My responses will be up on Intellectual Poison later on today most likely.
Without further ado, I give you, The Cheddar X:
1. If your house were burning and you only had time to grab three things (assuming kids and pets got out safely), what would they be?
2. What's the age of the oldest piece of food(cheese maybe) in your fridge?
3. Are you open, or do you lie about masturbation/digging your nose to others?
4. Is the USA too deeply buried in consumerism and crass over marketing? What can be done about it?
5. What was the last lie you told and do you still feel okay about telling it? What would be the consequences if you were found out?
6. If you have to chop off a part of your body to live, what part is it going to be and how would you do it?

Another New Question for this Week
I think this question will bring us to four questions on the week so far. One more and round two of the Cheddar X is good to go. Or, it can actually go now. Who cares if we get to the magical Five number? Not I.
If you are going to have to chop off a part of your body to live, what part is it going to be and how would you do it?
Side question that's not part of the Cheddar X but will help me make the site more useful.
Would people be interested in having an email push side to the site so that the new question sets could be sent out once they were ready to go?
Also, I'm planning on adding a Zonkboard or TagBoard to the site, make sense? I think so, it's an easier way to post questions for easier viewing and reviewing.

More Inquiries into the Minds, Actions and Hearts of Bloggers Everywhere
From Jivha, comes a pair of, hopefully, totally unrelated questions. To be added to the ever growing compost heap of random thoughts in my head.
What's the age of the oldest piece of food(cheese maybe) in your fridge?
Are you open, or do you lie about masturbation/digging your nose to others?
Probably best to mention if you're answering the masturbation or nose picking side of the second question, eh?

The Start
Bringing out the new, kicking the old to the curb. Calling a cry for a better, deeper and more satisfying set of regular questions to cause a roiling of frontal lobes all over the world.
Or maybe just a few folks interested in trying something new.
The way I see it working is to start the process with a question. And generate more as the week goes by, input is not only allowed but its welcome and even required. I'm only one over thinking, over righting wanker. I'll need help here.
Commenting will be added as soon as possible.
First question is:
If your house were burning and you only had time to grab three things (assuming kids and pets got out safely), what would they be?
